About the event
The Darjeeling Literature Festival publicly commences with a Curtain Raiser on 11 October 2026 at the Darjeeling Gymkhana Club. This event reveals the festival's identity and provides an introduction to its vision, discussions, and cultural essence. By uniting literature, ideas, music, and community, the Curtain Raiser lays the groundwork for the inaugural Darjeeling Literature Festival in 2027.
